Austrian Airlines is to increase its flight product to and from London: from 30 March 2014 onwards, the carrier will offer passengers one extra flight a day from Vienna to the British capital and back. Flight will leave on an Airbus A320 with flight number OS 461/2. This latest improvement in the service means the Austrian airline will now travel to and from London four times a day.
The new flight enhances the link in both directions – and with it the hub-to-hub connection between Vienna and London – by one extra frequency. The new route creates a range of additional transfer options, particularly to the Austrian provinces such as Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and Graz. Most importantly of all, however, it will create smoother links between London and Eastern Europe, and key centres such as Budapest, Sofia or Bucharest, than ever before.
The new flight times will see Austrian offering a new midday connection between Vienna and London.
