AURA AERO - a European hybrid electric regional aircraft developer - will open its first US facility in the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's research park at the end of the year. It will also build a 500,000 square foot manufacturing and assembly plant in Florida.
The facility will allow AURA AERO to produce, assemble, test and deliver its 19-seater hybrid electric commuter aircraft, ERA.
""Supported by the State of Florida, Space Florida, and our partner Embry-Riddle, we have the perfect ecosystem to bring a new generation of aircraft to our American customers,"" said AURA AERO president and cofounder Jeremy Caussade.
The aircraft manufacturer is headquartered in Toulouse, France where it also constructed a factory.
