Mexican-based international airport operator ASUR's passenger traffic was up 24.5% in Colombia in June 2024, when compared to the same month last year. Its traffic in Puerto Rico was also up 11.6%, while it saw a 5.5% decline in Mexico.
Colombia's traffic was largely driven by a 33.1% increase in international traffic, further boosted by a 22.3% increase in domestic travel.
Overall, its passenger traffic for June 2024 was up 3.8% compared to June 2023, reaching 6.1 million passengers.
