Asia Atlantic Airlines rebrands to AIRTHAILAND
Asia Atlantic Airlines, which ceased operations in October 2018, has rebranded as AIRTHAILAND. The airline had received a new air operating license (AOL) in August 29, 2023, which included authorisation to operate three A330 family aircraft as AIRTHAILAND. According to its website, it will begin operations in August this year. The airline said on its website: ""This transition builds on our long-standing legacy of high customer satisfaction and a steadfast commitment to quality, service, and excellence."" At the Singapore Air Show 2024, AIRTHAILAND CEO Ritprapa Phritakomol has with met with AMECO Beijing director of marketing & sales Max Xiao where they had discussed comprehensive maintenance support agreements for the A330 fleet. The airline had also discussed service support for Airbus operations with NavBlue at the airshow. The airline said it would fly A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft from Bangkok to China's Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai, as well as Japan's Hokkaido, Narita, and Osaka. It will also fly to UAE's Dubai. Its main hub at the Suvarnabhumi Airport will fly four weekly flights to Beijing, Chengdu, Narita, and Shanghai from October 2024.
