Arena Aviation Capital has acquired an eight aircraft portfolio from AerCap, on behalf of a US based investment fund, the company shared on August 3, 2025. The portfolio consists of six A320-200s and two 737NGs.
The aircraft are all on lease to airlines including easyJet, Air France, Avianca, and Norwegian. The portfolio deal is worth around $180 million.
The transaction is Arena's third portfolio deal with AerCap to date. The last aircraft was delivered on July 2, 2025. Bank financing for the acquisition was arranged by PK AirFinance, who also act as facility agent and security trustee.
“We are grateful to once again have been given the confidence by a market leader like AerCap to put together a tailored package deal for an important new US investor client of Arena,” said Arena Aviation Capital chief commercial officer Erik Dahmen. “All parties worked with patience, hard and collaboratively to close the transaction. We look forward to repeating this feat with everyone involved.”
This brings the total number of aircraft acquired for investor clients since launch in 2014 to 135. The company currently manages a portfolio of 60 managed and contracted on lease aircraft.
