APOC Aviation has relocated to a new warehouse and office premises located between Schnipol Airport and Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The business is said to be preparing for an influx of stock from recent narrow body aircraft part-outs. The company is also expanding its IT, sales and warehousing teams.
In another move, the firm has appointed Robert Ymker to the new position of repair manager. Ymker has been with APOC Aviation since its beginnings in 2015 in a sales capacity, but he will now transition to repairs in line with the growth trajectory of the business.
Commenting on the role, Ymker said: “Negotiating for the best repair rates that can be passed on to customers and developing our relationships with MRO shops worldwide are my priorities.
“We are poised to build the business significantly in Asia and already have a footprint in North and South America – so looking for new repair opportunities to support our sales in these regions and integrating our own stock to maximise the value of repairs is my focus.”
The role of warehouse manager in the new facility has been awarded to Sing Lo, a highly experienced logistics manager with previous roles at KLM, Avia Partner, Mastermate and Abelli in the Netherlands.
Lo has joined APOC to lead the streamlining of the new warehouse and introduce new Lean methodologies, the company says.
