Air Charter Service (ACS) has appointed Andrew Summers as its regional director for ACS’s mainland European offices.
Chris Leach, ACS’s chairman, commented: ""We believe that a dedicated focus on the continent is essential to our growth plans – a region that makes up 15% of the global economy.
""Over the past decade Andrew has been head of our Middle East, Africa and India region and has done a fantastic job in growing our business across that region. We fully believe that he will be able to achieve the same success in Europe and increase our market share on the continent"".
Summers commented: ""I have loved my time in the Middle East, but I am thrilled to be returning to the UK headquarters and taking on the European charter market. We have very strong teams across all seven of our offices in mainland Europe, and I’m looking forward to working closely with all of them.""
Summers will be responsible for helping the heads of ACS' operations across Europe, as well as its cargo, private jets and group travel divisions. He will also continue to oversee growth in central Asia through ACS' Kazakhstan office. He has served at the company for 18 years.
