Airline Economics Growth Frontiers Dublin 2017 is about to begin! With 2,400 delegates booked, this event is proving to be one of the, if not the, most popular events in the industry. And because of this overwhelming demand, there have been some evening dinner venue changes over the past few weeks. Details are as follows:
The Aviation 100 Global Leaders awards is now being held at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) Merrion Road, Dublin 4, which begins at 7pm. A fleet of 15 double decker coaches will leave The Shelbourne hotel to take delegates to the RDS. The first coach leave at 6pm and the last coach will leave at 6:50pm. There are two large welcome bars and six cloak rooms at the RDS so being on an early bus is no hardship. Please do not leave it to the final coach!
At the end of the awards dinner, buses will leave the RDS as required to take guests back to The Shelbourne where the Engine Lease Finance bar will be open until (very) late!
On the Tuesday night, again due to overwhelming demand, the venue for the Airlink Gala Dinner has been moved to The Mansion House on Dawson Street (a short walk from The Shelbourne Hotel). Doors open at 7:00pm.
Following the end of the dinner, Engine Lease Finance is again hosting drinks, both at the bar in the Mansion House and in its sponsored bar at The Shelbourne Hotel.
During the three-day conference, lunches are being held for delegates at The Shelbourne Hotel both in the main restaurant and the conference halls. In addition to this, lunch is also being served for delegates at The Residence, The Unicorn (both across the road from the hotel) and at the Hibernian Club. These venues not only all serve the very best class of food, but they are also perfect for finding private corners to meet with people. The Residence is open at all times for delegates and, with its two bars, it is a great venue.
The latest delegate information will be sent out to all delegates tonight.
Safe travels to Dublin. We look forward to catching up with old friends and welcoming new ones.
