With the launch of the new route, the total number of international destinations served by AnadoluJet will be 38.

The inaugural flight between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) and Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport (FCO) took place on May 26, 2023, lasting more than two hours. Although the airline deployed by A320neo on the inaugural flight, the airline plans to use its B737 fleet for upcoming flights.
