All Nippon Airways has reported a net profit of $486.55 million in the nine-months from April 2022 to December 2022. The airline had reported a loss of $799 million in the same time last year.
Kimihiko Nakahori, Executive Vice President and Group Chief Financial Officer, ANA Holdings said: “With the easing of travel restrictions in the last quarter, we were excited to offer our high-quality customer service to more passengers and serve additional destinations, as reflected by our positive financial performance. The ability to do this is a testament to our employees who have persevered over the last few years and worked together to position the ANA Group for the future."
Meanwhile the airline had posted an operating revenue of $9.785 from Q1 to Q3 of 2022 with almost a 70% increase from 2021 figures where the airlines closed the operating revenue at $5.736bn.
Going ahead the airline reported a sharp rise in domestic passenger traffic rising to 24.9 million from Q1 to Q3 in 2022. The passenger traffic same time in 2021 was 13.2 million.
The airline reported a rise in load factor from 49.3% in April-December 2021 to 62.3% in 2022. The load factor on ANA’s international flights sae a triple jump from 25% in 2021 to almost 72.5% in 2022.
