American Airlines expects to carry more than 52 million passengers between May 25 and August 14.
The carrier said it is "doubling down on operational reliability" to meet demand and "has invested in new technology to get customers on their way faster."
The airline announced it would operate over 460,000 flights over the period, supported by a staff increase of over 13,000 compared to 2021.
The carrier said it offers industry-leading punctuality and aimed to maintain that standard over the summer.
