In its new summer schedule American Airlines is planning to resume flights from Dublin to Chicago O’Hare airport. The airline will use two-class Boeing 767-300 aircraft to operate the daily non-stop service, providing a total of 225 seats on each journey.
American Airlines’ operations at Dublin airport will be moved to the new second terminal from April 6, which will allow passengers to clear US immigration and customs checks before boarding their flight.
‘We are delighted to resume our service to Dublin and to relocate in Dublin’s newest terminal,’ said Loretta Kuss, the airline’s director of passenger sales for Chicago.
‘We look forward to welcoming back our Irish customers and hope they will enjoy the US Customs and Border Protection pre-clearance benefits made possible by our terminal move.’
