An American Airlines flight “returned safely” to Miami International Airport on the evening of March 28, 2025, after reporting a landing gear issue on its 787-800, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.
The flight was heading from Miami to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. The FAA said crew onboard flight 62 had reported the landing gear issue before it was diverted back to Miami.
The FAA said it is investigating. Airline Economics has contacted American Airlines for comment.
