Alton Aviation Consultancy has acted as the lead commercial due diligence advisor for KKR on its acquisition of Atlantic Aviation from Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation (MIC).
Atlantic Aviation operates one of the largest networks of fixed base operations (FBOs) in the United States, providing a full suite of services to the private aviation sector. A definitive agreement for MIC to sell Atlantic Aviation to KKR for US$4.475 billion was agreed in June 2021.

In addition, we conducted a technical assessment of the company operations to inform KKR’s investment thesis.”
The transaction is expected to close in 2H 2021.
