Allegiant appoints new EVP and CFO

Allegiant has named Gregory Anderson as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will also continue as the company's principal accounting officer, a role he has served since January, 2015.

"Greg has been an exceptional leader, and epitomises the kind of dedication that not only makes our company successful, but also attracts other talented team members," said Allegiant President John Redmond. "His financial experience and work ethic will serve Allegiant and all our stakeholders well into the future as we continue to grow."

Anderson, who joined Allegiant's accounting department in 2010, has served as the company's senior vice president, treasury since January, 2017.

Prior to joining Allegiant, he worked in corporate accounting for US Airways. A certified public accountant, Anderson previously worked in public accounting for the multinational professional services firm Ernst & Young.

Scott Sheldon, who has served as Allegiant's chief financial officer since 2010, will continue to serve in his role of executive vice president and chief operating officer.
