Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has delivered one new A321-200neo aircraft to LATAM Airlines, the first of eight aircraft scheduled for delivery to the airline.
“With this new A321-200neo aircraft, LATAM adds to the airline’s fleet modernization program by obtaining the most advanced technology aircraft to optimize and grow the carrier’s expanding international route network,” highlighted Steven Udvar-Házy, executive chairman of Air Lease Corporation.
The LATAM group aims to finish 2023 with a fleet of 332 aircraft, of which 78 are widebody and 254 narrowbody aircraft. LATAM Airline’s second A321-200neo is due to be delivered in 2024, followed by five A321 XLRs between 2025 and 2026.
