Alaska Airlines is planning to enhance its international route network by adding two new routes to the Bahamas to meet the demand for leisure travel. The airline will also expand its service to Mexico by introducing new routes between Las Vegas, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta.
The additional route changes are a part of Alaska Airlines upcoming winter schedule.
The airline will add its first-ever nonstop flights to the capital of the Bahamas, Nassau, from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) starting December 2023.
The airline will operate four weekly flights on the Nassau- Los Angeles route deploying its B737 starting December 15 till April 9, 2024. The airline will operate flights between Nassau and Seattle thrice weekly deploying its B737.
The airline currently has 216 737s in its fleet, including 79 737-900ERs, 61 737-800s, 50 737 MAX 9s, 14 737-700s, and 12 737-900 jets

In addition to new flights to the Bahamas, Alaska Airlines will launch a new service between Las Vegas and Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, two of Mexico's popular destinations from the West Coast.
