Alaska Airlines has resumed flights after grounding its mainline fleet due to a software outage at 8pm Pacific time on July 20, 2025.
The company requested a temporary system-wide ground stop for its flights until the issue was resolved. The carrier resumed flights three hours later, but said some impact remains and will “take some time” to resume normal operations.
