Alaska Airlines commences nine new domestic and international routes

Alaska Airlines has started flying nine new routes to what it describes as ‘a mix of popular leisure destinations’ including its first-ever flights to the Bahamas and Guatemala. A new route between Las Vegas and two Mexican cities will also be joined by a seasonal service connecting Palm Springs and New York City.

“We’re also now flying our guests to countries we’ve never served before as we increase our international service,” commented Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning for Alaska Airlines; highlighting the new nonstop flights from Los Angeles and Seattle to Nassau in the Bahamas.

Alaska Airlines has the most flights to the most destinations across Latin America than any other carrier, including a new daily, year-round service between Los Angeles and Guatemala. New Las Vegas flights will also serve the Mexican destinations of Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. Domestically, a new nonstop service links Palm Springs and New York JFK, while new daily seasonal routes from Orange County to Montana and Tuscon are also available.
