AJW Group has promoted Conrad Vandersluis to senior vice president strategic material and asset management.
Vandersluis’ new role will focus on helping both AJW and its customers efficiently manage their assets and secure higher returns on the capital employed. He will drive the optimisation of inventories and streamlining of operating costs for clients through tailored plans and utilisation of AJW’s expert global sales teams.
He was most recently AJW’s Vice President Strategic Material and Asset Management, a position which he held for just over a year.
His new role includes leading a team of five in the strategic planning and coordination of purchasing airframes and engines from the B737, B777 and A320 family to support customer and market demand and ensure AJW is a strategic asset management partner of choice.

Vandersluis has over 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry, including roles in sales at Flightspares Ltd and Skybrakes/APPH, before joining AJW Group in 2003.
