Aircraft component parts, repair and supply chain solutions provider AJW Group has announced a number of ‘groundbreaking’ new logistics contracts with a variety of partners, which will allow the group to ‘implement an innovative logistics model’ over the next two years.
Chief operating officer at AJW Barry Swift explained that “through proactive reassessment and innovation in logistics operations, we demonstrate our commitment to staying ahead of the curve,” with global logistics partners including Exepeditors, GBA Global Solutions and GB Malpensa marking a “strategic milestone in AJW Group’s history”.
GBA Global Solutions managing director Pete Wilkinson added that their management team were “delighted to be given the opportunity to support with the simplification and optimization of AJW supply chain, building on a collaboration of five years between the two companies.
AJW Group’s digitisation initiative will “augment logistics capacity by over 50% within the same timeframe,” concluded the company.
