Airport Handling has opened its new office at Rome Fiumicino airport, part of the company’s multi-million euro investment into the facilities, following the award of a seven-year ground handling license at the facility. The office is located at terminal 3.
CEO of Airport Handling Alberto Morosi explained his intention to continue his company’s “long-term investments in team, infrastructure, and equipment as [it] establishes operations at the airport,” currently targeted for the second half of 2024. “We look forward to providing our world-class services to our existing and new customers at another major Italian aviation hub,” he concluded.
Ahead of Airport Handling’s operations, a fleet of new ground service vehicles (including electric examples) will be delivered from early summer. The company currently handles more than 82,000 flights annually at the two Milan airports, Malpensa and Linate.
