Airlink Disaster response – The aviation sector assists Nepal in its time of need:

The aviation sector has once again shown its strong support through a rapid disaster response following appeals by Airlink to assist Nepal following the devastating earthquake there over the weekend:

United Airlines has actively launched a crowdfunding campaign to support Airlink.  This began on Monday afternoon and has already raised over $100,000 to support the Nepalese response.  Nicole Lee and Suzi Schelewitz were directly responsible for making this happen. Etihad Airways has now flown 17 relief workers into Kathmandu on behalf of Airlink.  Sincere thanks to Linden Coppell for making this happen. Other key supporters in the industry right now include - Peter Davies, Todd Freeman, Peter Harbison, Peter Huijbers, David Huttner, Ted Nozaki, Mike Platt and Robyn Mandel.

A very special thanks is also due to Ken Gazzola, Jim Greenbaum, and Bob Brown, who have collectively pledged an additional $76,000 to support AirLink relief efforts bringing the total raised so far to over $176,000.
