Airlines for America (A4A) has confirmed that it will no longer pursue its lawsuit against the European Union's Emissions Trading Scheme, and instead will back efforts by Capitol Hill to resolve the issue. A4A president and CEO Nicholas Calio said the lawsuit had helped shed light on the ETS's shortcomings and noted that its arguments are now key points in ongoing opposition to the scheme.
