Airbus has warned of potential delays on deliveries of A380 aircraft following the blowout of the Rolls-Royce engines one of Qantas Airline’s A380 last week.
David Epstein, general manager of Qantas, has stated he hopes delivery of the remaining 14 A380s it has on order will not be delayed.
Delays in repairing the engines on the Qantas and other airlines’ A380s are reported to be costing Qantas and Airbus their profits for the year.
