Airbus releases order details for 2019 so far

Airbus has revealed that its total orders for the year ending 31 July stands at 246.

During the period, the planemaker delivered 96 A320neos with 30 going to Saudi, 20 to Accipter, 18 being delivered to All Nippon Airways. There was also two delivered to Atlantic Airways, two to Iberia; with 23 going to undisclosed customers and one to a private customer.

Oceania-based Air Vanuatu has taken delivery of two A220-100 and two A220-300. Other orders for the aircraft, which stood at 17 overall, saw Jetblue Airways take 10 and Delta Airlines take delivery of five A220-300 aircraft.

Overall, 51 A350-900 aircraft were ordered, Lufthansa took delivery of 20, as did Air China. Lufthansa Technik gained three, two were delivered to DAE Capital and one was delivered to a private customer. There was also five delivered to Starlux Airlines - who also gained 12 A350-1000.

Overall, 57 A321neo aircraft were delivered so far in 2019. Qantas took delivery of 10 A321neos, with 13 additional aircraft going to undisclosed customers, eight going to Iberia and six going to Aer Lingus.

Elsewhere, Virgin Atlantic gained eight A330-900, Uganda Airlines took two A330-800 aircraft.
