Latvian carrier AirBaltic will acquire four new Q400s in Spring 2013 rather than lease older version of the aircraft type.
The airline will take the aircraft from an operating lessor straight off the production line, rather than use a sale-leaseback transaction. The aircraft will replace its Fokker 50s. And between 2015 and 2017, AirBaltic will take delivery of 10 CS300s.
