The Latvian national airline airBaltic has increased its market share at its second largest base to 28% in May. There is an increase of eight percentage points from the 20% market share the airline had at Tallinn Airport in the same month last year.

This summer season, airBaltic has launched direct flights to 20 new destinations – a record-high. The airline has recently connected Tallinn with Rhodes, Heraklion in Greece, and Split, Dubrovnik in Croatia.

“We are proud that airBaltic has achieved a significant market share increase at Tallinn Airport. In May 2023, our market share reached an impressive 28%, marking 8% growth compared to the same month last year,” said Martin Gauss, president and chief executive of airBaltic.

airBaltic provides flights to more than 70 destinations from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius and Tampere, offering destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Middle East.
