airBaltic implements Swiss-AS' MRO software solution
Latvian national airline airBaltic will implement Swiss AviationSoftware's (Swiss-AS) MRO solution AMOS. The addition of Swiss-AS' software will allow the airline to streamline and improve its aircraft maintenance operations. As part of the implementation project, which is expected to take 18 months, airBaltic will adopt the AMOS Airline/MRO Edition, including AMOSmobile/EXEC. The project includes a comprehensive service package to ensure a smooth transition to the new system. ""We at airBaltic are consistently working on a pragmatic, yet ambitious business development strategy, and AMOS is one of the tools to drive future of technical operations,"" said airBaltic SVP technical operations Andris Vaivads. AMOS will be used to manage growing fleet of airBaltic, which currently counts for 48 Airbus A220-300 aircraft with a plan to operate a single-type fleet of up to 100 A220-300s by 2030.
