AirAsia India posted revenue of INR1.15 billion although it has reported a net loss of INR441.5 million. Traffic during Q2 was 332 million RPKs with capacity of 398 million ASKs. AirAsia India’s passenger load factor was 83.4%.
AirAsia Philippines experienced further losses during the second quarter with a loss of PHP777 million, although this was an improvement over the PHP555 million loss reported in the Q2 2014 period. Passenger traffic rose 3.5% to 894 million RPKs on the back of a 8.1% decrease in capacity. Load factor for the airline was 77.6%.Thai AirAsia has reported profits of THB374 million ($11 million) a marked turnaround from a loss reported last second quarter. Passenger traffic on the airline rose by 25.2% to 3.57 billion RPKs on the back of a 20.3% rise in capacity to 4.41 billion ASKs. Load factor was 81%.
Indonesia AirAsia's reported a loss in the second quarter of IDR486.4 billion ($36.4 million), which deepens the IDR340.3 billion loss reported in the year-ago period. Passenger traffic fell by 4% to 2.2 billion RPKs on the back of a 1.8% rise in capacity measured in ASKs. The passenger load factor was 73.4%.
