Air Serbia and Lufthansa Technik sign five year A320ceo component support contract

Air Serbia has agreed a minimum five year contract with Lufthansa Technik to provide Total Component Support for their current and future Airbus A320ceo family fleet, starting in January 2024.

The contract will include comprehensive MRO services as well as spare parts pooling and homebase services for the required components in the national carrier’s home of Belgrade, Serbia. It expands on an existing relationship between the two companies which has seen Lufthansa Technik supporting Air Serbia with landing gear and other services for its A320 fleet since 2020.

Noting that Air Serbia’s “ambitious goals” for the next decade could include more than 50 aircraft, CEO of Air Serbia Jiri Marek added: “this requires a reliable partner that supports us with the best possible services – also at our home base in Belgrade. The partnership with Lufthansa Technik will therefore contribute to the operational excellence for Air Serbia”.
