Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, has denied an air operator’s certificate (AOC) to regional carrier Air Samara. The agency stated that the airline did not have enough pilots for its fleet of three regional Beechcraft King Air 350i aircraft and also denied the AOC because there was no line maintenance station for the aircraft type at its base Samara Airport.
