Air New Zealand, which already named a new CEO this summer, will see three more C-suite replacements in the coming months.
Alex Marren, chief operating officer, will step down from the company at the end of March 2026.
Marren joined Air New Zealand in 2022 following a 36-year career in operational leadership in aviation and transport.
During her time at Air New Zealand, she played an important role in rebuilding operational performance following the COVID-19 pandemic and introducing new tools and processes to support frontline teams.
Air New Zealand said it will “work through the options” to replace Marren over the coming months.
Elsewhere in the C-suite, starting on 20 October 2025, Jeremy O’Brien will step into the newly created role of chief customer and digital officer.
O’Brien, who currently serves as chief commercial officer, has held senior leadership positions at Air New Zealand for the last nine years, covering sales, customer, loyalty, marketing and brand.
Finally, Scott Wilkinson will start as chief commercial officer on 7 October 2025, following his appointment in January this year.
Wilkinson will return to New Zealand following a decade at Qantas, where he held senior leadership roles across digital, customer experience, and commercial strategy.
Air New Zealand’s loyalty business will be added to Wilkinson’s portfolio following the arrival of Nikhil Ravishankar as CEO on 20 October 2025.
Ravishankar will replace current CEO Greg Foran, who is stepping down from the company after leading it through six of the “most challenging” years in aviation history, the airline said.
