Air New Zealand will retire its last remaining B747-400, ZK-NBV (msn 26910), from revenue service on September 10th, 2014. The aircraft's final revenue flight will be from San Francisco to Auckland. ANZ has commenced replacement of the type with newer, more cost-effective B777-300ERs.
Air New Zealand's remaining long-haul fleet currently consists of six B767-300s, eight B777-200s, six B777-300ERs and one B787-9.
