Air Navigation Solutions appoints Caroline Cauvin as commercial director

Air Navigation Solutions (ANS), the UK air traffic management provider, has appointed Caroline Cauvin as its commercial director.

Cauvin has over 20 years industry experience in commercial management in the aviation sector. Her role at ANS will include the management of customer relationships, developing new business opportunities and the long term implementation of ANS’ contracting, procurement and supply chain.

She was previously procurement director of AJW Group, the aircraft spares provider, for over two years, where she was fundamental in aiding the development of commercial solutions for key customers, the owner of complex supplier relationships and heavily supported internal skills development.

Prior to that, she was vice president of procurement at Virgin Atlantic, overseeing a $1 billion supply chain covering all aspects of product and service requirements to support the airline’s operation.

Henry Game, managing director of Air Navigation Solutions, says: “Caroline brings a wealth of industry experience to ANS and will play an integral role in managing our customer relationships, developing business opportunities and ultimately driving ANS’ growth.

Cauvin’s arrival comes as ANS marks three years of operations at London Gatwick, the busiest single runway operation in the world, where it has provided air traffic control and engineering services since March 2016.

Caroline Cauvin, Commercial Director of Air Navigation Solutions, says: “I’m thrilled to join ANS at such a pivotal time. Its proven offering, agile structure and desire to continually innovate make it an exciting company to join, and I look forward to using my experience to drive its commercial success.”
