Airbus Helicopters has kept up with the pace in securing orders for its newly launched light twin-engine H140 aircraft, with Air Method agreeing to acquire H140 helicopters, as well as for 10 H125s and 11 H135s on March 12, 2025.
The H140 is expected to enter into service in 2028. Global Medical Response ordered up to 15 of the new helicopters and Metro Aviation made a firm order for 12, with options for an additional 24, the previous day.
Metro Aviation will be the launch customer of the H140.
In addition, New York State Police ordered for one H160 and three H145 helicopters on March 12, 2025.
The UK National Police Service ordered seven H135s. The orders were made as the industry show VERTICON is being held in Dallas, Texas from March 11 to 13.
