Air Méditerranée enters liquidation

Air Méditerranée has gone into liquidation. The French low-cost carrier entered administration in January 2015 and was seeking a buyer, which failed to materialise by the February 15 deadline.

The airline said it would refund passengers future flights “as soon as possible”.

Launched in 1997, Air Méditeranée operated a small fleet of A321s and 737-500s on charter and scheduled routes from Paris Charles De Gaulle and several southern French airports to Mediterranean and West African destinations.
