Air Lease Corporation has priced its public offering of $700 million in aggregate principal amount of 3.375% unsecured senior notes due 2019. The five year notes will mature on January 15, 2019 and will bear interest at a rate of 3.375% per annum, payable semi-annually in arrears on January 15 and July 15 of each year, commencing on January 15, 2014. The notes were offered to the public at a price of 99.858% of par. The sale is expected to close on November 19, 2013.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, the purchase of commercial aircraft and the repayment of existing indebtedness. BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Barclays, BMO Capital Markets, BNP PARIBAS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, Fifth Third Securities, Mizuho Securities, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets and RBS are acting as joint bookrunners for the offering.
