For winter season commencing 29 October, the Air France KLM group will operate five daily flights on the Dublin to Amsterdam route and four daily flights on the Dublin to Paris route.
KLM first launched the Dublin to Amsterdam route in November last year with two daily flights. This was increased to four flights per day in March before a fifth frequency was added for the peak summer period. The five times a day service has now been confirmed for the winter season.
KLM confirm that as a result of the upgrade to a B737 aircraft for two rotations, one night stop and one day flight for the winter season, there will be a 161% increase in total capacity on the Dublin to Amsterdam route (vs winter 2016). The other three rotations will be operated by an Embraer 190 aircraft carrying 100 passengers.
From 29 October, Air France will start operating its own aircraft on the Dublin to Paris route. At present, the route is operated by codeshare partner CityJet but for the winter season, two of the four daily flights will be operated by Air France using A318 aircraft, one by HOP using an Embraer 190 aircraft and one by CityJet using an Avroliner AR8.
