As Paris prepares to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Air France is ramping up its capacity as part of the French national carrier’s expansion plans.
Long-haul capacity for summer 2024 will see an increase in capacity of 9%, with flights now serving 85 destinations. This includes the resumption of daily flights to Minnesota, an extended direct service to North Carolina, and a new direct route to Arizona scheduled to run three times a week.
Outside North America, long-term destinations include increased frequency on ‘key African and Indian Ocean routes,’ more flights to Japan and Abu Dhabi, and the resumption of the direct Tanzania service inaugurated in summer 2023. Passengers travelling long-haul with Air France will benefit from the continued rollout of refurbished cabins on the carrier’s 777-300ERs and A350-900s.
Additionally, an additional 45 seasonal route in France and Europe will see Paris Charles de Gaulle operating up to three flights a week to Verona, and one service a week to Narvil-Lofoten and Kalamata.
