Air Europa has secured a €475 million ($555.85 million) aid package from the Spanish government, which comprises a €240 million equity-backed loan and a €235 million regular loan, according to government spokeswoman Maria Jesus Montero.
Air Europa will have a maximum of six years to repay the loans.
