Air Caraibes closed the funding for one A350-1000 on December 12, 2024. The airline is part of Groupe Dubreuil, which also owns low-cost carrier French Bee.
Credit Agricole CIB (CACIB) secured a term loan to finance the aircraft in favour of Air Caraibes (and potentially also French Bee).
The financing is supported by a Balthazar aviation non-payment insurance provided by five Balthazar insurers and arranged by insurance broker Marsh.
CACIB acted as co-arranger with the Caisse Regionale de Credit Agricole Mutuel Atlantique-Vendee. Both entities acted as lender, alongside six other Caisses Regionales de Credit Agricole Mutuel (Guadeloupe, Loire-Haute-Loire, Anjou et Maine, Centre-Ouest, Martinique et la Guyane, and Brie-Picardie) and La Banque Postale.
