Air Canada launched a new route between Edinburgh and Montreal on March 26, 2025, as the airline continues its transatlantic expansion. The new route is set to commence on June 27, 2025.
The flights will be operated by the airline's 737 MAX 8 fleet. The route will operate three times per week during the peak summer season.
“Edinburgh has always been an important market for Air Canada, thanks to strong business, tourism, and cultural ties between Scotland and Canada,” said Air Canada senior director sales EMEAI Margaret Skinner.
The route will complement the airline's existing route between Edinburgh and Toronto, which operates seven times per week.
