Air Astana is increasing international flight frequencies from Almaty to several destinations during the Nauryz holiday period in March.
The airline has added nine extra services on the Almaty–Phuket route and upgraded flights to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, from single-aisle aircraft to Boeing 767 widebodies, increasing seating capacity by about 35%.
Additional flights have also been scheduled on the Almaty–Delhi route, with 13 extra services, while frequencies to London, Male, Istanbul, Tbilisi, and Tashkent have also been increased.
Chief financial officer and CEO-elect Ibrahim Canliel said the additional services would give passengers more options to travel during the holiday period.
Air Astana also plans to expand its schedule further in April, including increasing Astana–Frankfurt flights to a daily service by the end of the month.
