Air Astana and Japan Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement on August 22, 2024. The agreement will allow both airlines to place their respective codes on a new Almaty to Tokyo service scheduled to be launched in the spring of 2026.
The agreement is set to enhance connectivity between Kazakhstan and Japan for both business and leisure travellers.
