Air Astana’s fleet has grown to 50 aircraft following the delivery of a new A321neo from the manufacturer’s assembly line in Hamburg, Germany.
The Kazakh flag carrier’s latest aircraft will operate a two-class configuration, featuring a new ‘Airspace Cabin’ economy class with a ‘moodlight’ cabin lighting system previously only featured on the airline’s long-haul aircraft.
Air Astana currently operates five A3210neos alongside a variety of A320 and A321 family aircraft, three Boeing 767s and five Embraer E190-E2s. Its fleet expansion plan is aiming to reach 80 aircraft by the end of 2028.
