Low-cost carrier, Air Arabia, which currently flies four times a week between Sharjah, UAE, and Nairobi, is planning to fly the route daily from the first week of April.
East African expatriates have been keep proponents of the airline which is convenient for them to travel back and forth on a tight budget. Visitors from the Gulf are also pushing up demand.
Air Arabia is also planning to actively promote travel to Kenya through its extensive network across the Middle East and the Arab world.
