Afriqiyah Airways has taken delivery of its first MD-83, EC-LEY (c/n 2068), on wet-lease from Spanish aircraft lease specialists, Swiftair. The aircraft was recently ferried from Madrid Barajas (MAD) to Tripoli International (TIP) and has so far mainly been used on Afriqiyah's route from Tripoli to London Gatwick.
