Libyan carrier Afriqiyah Airways has held talks over a possible investment in underperforming Senegal Airlines.
Afriqiyah has announced intentions to re-establish its sub-Saharan African network which was abandoned following the overthrow of the Gaddhafi regime in 2011.
Senegal Airlines recently returned the last of three A320s to lessor CIT Aerospace. Operations still continue with a B737-300 and a CRJ-200 wet-leased from Eastern SkyJets and CemAir respectively.
