It has been reported that Afriqiyah Airways is considering wet leasing out one of its two new A330-300s currently in storage in Spain. The airline is hesitant to import the two aircraft into the country after two of its A330-200s were damaged during heavy fighting at Tripoli International airport last year.
A two-year preliminary contract is under negotiation with an undisclosed European leasing firm, unconfirmed reports suggest.
